Progress Update on the Kilisut Harbor Restoration Project

We are making good progress on our design. However, we are not as far along as we had hoped by this point. Therefore, we will not be holding a community meeting until September or October. But, have no fear, we will be visiting your community again with 30% designs in hand ready to explain where the project is heads and to gather community feedback on it.

In the meantime, here is an aerial image of the site from Tom Roorda. It does a good job of demonstrating the impacts of the road to the channels that historically connected Kilisut Harbor to Oak Bay.
